In many instances, browsers now provide a 'holding place' for downloaded programs rather than just giving the option to run the program being downloaded. On Windows computers, usually the default location is the Downloads folder located in the Favorites area of your computer. On Macs, the default is generally the Applications folder.
Within the browsers, a small icon that indicates a location where the download may be accessed without the necessity of going to the download folder itself. Clicking this will allow the file to be run. Examples are below - the location will vary from browser to browser.
Download progress will appear at the bottom of the page.
If a message appears that says the publisher couldn't be verified, click Run.
